Ben VanSumeren was a welcome addition to Michigan State football, transferring in from Michigan just a few months before his brother Alex committed to the Spartans. Now, the MSU linebacker will vie for a roster spot at the next level and has officially declared for the 2023 NFL draft.
VanSumeren nearly transferred out of Michigan State earlier this year, but decided to return, and due to the suspension of Jacoby Windmon was given a large opportunity and he performed pretty well, tallying 73 total tackles, 25 of those solo, and two sacks on the year.
I could tell them the story, they still won’t know the half ☝🏼 #SD4L pic.twitter.com/zSCuuTkbxt
