Even when he sprained his ankle in an avoidable loss to the Chicago Bulls last week, superstar Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum did not take the Celtics’ next game off.
While that might have been the difference between a win over the Dallas Mavericks or falling at the hands of Mavs star Luka Doncic, might it not have been better for the Celtics to have rested the St. Louis native given Tatum running out of gas in the 2022 NBA Finals?
When are the Celtics going to give Tatum some rest? The former Duke standout will need some time off during the season to have his legs under him for the 2023 NBA playoffs. Is there a way to find Tatum some rest in ways that will not hurt the team’s win total?
The hosts of the CLNS Media “A-List” podcast recently got together to debate whether the former Blue Devil even needs time off — or whether there might be another way for Tatum to get rest.
