While he has not gotten the run that he likely hoped for coming into the 2022-23 NBA season, Boston Celtics reserve combo guard Payton Pritchard has made the most of the floor time he has been given thus far. And the Oregon native’s effort and hustle have been a key part of winning games on days when the starters have not (or could not) have it going for them.
The Oregon alum has been playing a career-low 11.4 minutes per contest with his counting stats only taking a slight hit, with his per-36 minute stats telling a truer tale of his impact this season.
Payton Pritchard has truly risen to the occasion so far this season, enough so that he was his own topic of conversation on a recent episode of the “Vitamin Cs” podcast.
