The latest College Football Playoff rankings were released Tuesday night, with Dabo Swinney and the Tigers remaining in the top 10.
Clemson 9-1 (7-0 ACC) moved up a single spot in the rankings, moving from No.10 to No.9, matching where they rank in both the AP Poll and Coaches Poll. The College Football Playoff Selection Committee still sees a path for the Tigers to make the Playoff, but having a two-loss team such as Alabama who won’t be making a trip to the SEC Championship game ahead of them does make a person wonder how good Clemson’s chances actually are.
One thing I do know is that anything can happen in college football. The next couple of weeks leading up to conference championships will be make or break for many teams around the country, with Clemson being one of those teams.
