Kirk Herbstreit updates top-six after Week 11: No head-scratchers this time

Kirk Herbstreit’s updated top-six after Week 11 are pretty much what you’d expect the rankings to look like

Last week, ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit released a top-six that had the Oregon Ducks sitting at No. 4. It did not last long, though. Oregon lost 37-34 to Washington on Saturday evening. This week, Herbstreit’s rankings include zero headscratchers. It’s exactly what you’d expect a top-six to look like after Saturday.

Week 11 proved to be another exciting weekend of college football. The top contenders — Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio State, TCU and Michigan — took care of business. The Horned Frogs showed the nation they’re here to stay by going into Austin and beating Texas 17-10.

With a win over Arkansas, the LSU Tigers clinched their spot in the SEC championship, where they will meet Georgia on Dec. 3. Meanwhile, Alabama’s conference and national title hopes may be done but the Tide rebounded with a big win at Ole Miss.
