Jets quarterback Zach Wilson is up against a tough challenge in Week 9 in the Bills.
But the QB going against him, Josh Allen, is not looking at things that way.
Instead, Allen, a MVP favorite currently, see a lot of himself in Wilson.
During his weekly segment on the Kyle Brandt’s Basement podcast, Allen reflected on his own journey to where he is now. He remembers playing a team called the Patriots where he threw three interceptions–And the following week, he said he felt things starting to “click.”
Wilson threw three picks last week as well… against the Patriots.
Allen did admit he isn’t going to hope Wilson has the same ensuing effort–But he does understand.
For Allen’s full thoughts on Wilson, see the attached clip below from his weekly KBB segment:
.@JoshAllenQB sees some of himself in Zach Wilson, who he faces this Sunday:
"I was in that same position. I threw three picks against the Patriots my second year and it all clicked for me after that game."
