Here’s what Marshawn Lynch will do on ‘Thursday Night Football’

We’ll get a weekly dose of Marshawn, and that’s just the best news.

Marshawn Lynch will join Amazon Prime’s talented Thursday Night Football broadcast team for the rest of the 2022 season as a special correspondent, making the team even more Seahawks-oriented with Richard Sherman and others already part of the studio show.

The former Seattle star running back will be part of Amazon Prime’s pre- and postgame shows for Thursday night matchups, according to the New York Post.

Lynch’s role with Amazon’s studio show will center around short, pre-taped segments. Knowing Lynch, these videos will undoubtedly have plenty of comedic elements that will add a little spice to the TNF broadcasts through the rest of 2022.

Though Amazon’s interest in Lynch has been reported on for most of the year, it was unclear if his August arrest on suspicion of DUI would affect those plans. Amazon’s Marie Donoghue — vice president of global sports video — told the Post‘s Andrew Marchand and John Ourand that working with Lynch was never off the table.
