After rescheduling an official visit due to the impact of Hurricane Ian a few weeks ago, 2024 five-star guard [autotag]Boogie Fland[/autotag] is set for an important visit with the UNC basketball program.
It was announced earlier this week that Fland would be headed to to Chapel Hill on October 28 for his rescheduled visit. It was originally set for the weekend of September 30.
Fland is the No. 12 overall player in the 2024 class and the No. 2 combo guard per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
According to Rivals National Recruiting Director Rob Cassidy, this upcoming visit for Bland is a very important one in his recruitment.
“Johnuel “Boogie” Flandhas scheduled his first official visit, a trip to North Carolina that is set to take place on Oct. 28. And while Fland is miles away from a decision about his college future, the New York-based star’s trip to Chapel Hill feels important because the Tar Heels have long been appealing to Fland and his family.”
Fland is from Archbishop Stepinac (NY) High School, the same high school that current guard RJ Davis attended in high school.
Though Fland is not close to making a decision at this time, the Tar Heels have picked up a lot of steam in his recruitment ever since extending an offer this summer.
