During the Miami Dolphins’ Week 3 matchup with the Buffalo Bills, defensive lineman Christian Wilkins and quarterback Josh Allen had gotten into an altercation in a pile that resulted in Allen ripping Wilkins’ helmet off.
Allen got flagged for a personal foul on the play. The quarterback said after the game that “there were some things that (he) didn’t appreciate going on” during the pile.

It’s not clear what is exactly Wilkins did to provoke Allen’s reaction, but it was enough to result in a $13,261 fine from the NFL, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This is not the first time that a battle with the Bills has cost Wilkins, as he was also fined $10,527 for striking an offensive lineman during his rookie season.
