The Cowboys are one game behind in the NFC East, and as the team looks to stay afloat in the division, there’s some optimism concerning Dak Prescott’s fractured thumb.

Dallas balked at putting the quarterback on injured reserve.
Jones believes Prescott can return in time for the first of two gigantic matchups with the Philadelphia Eagles on October 16 at Lincoln Financial Field.
With the three other teams in the NFC East getting off to fast starts, Dallas appears to be panicking while banking on a Cooper Rush and Will Grier keeping the offensive afloat in Prescott’s absence.
