LeBron and Bronny James were among those in attendance on Saturday as the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the No. 5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Ohio Stadium.
The game featured several notable athletes, including Boston Celtics guard Jayson Tatum, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. The group witnessed a 21-10 win by the home team to open the season.
Throughout the game, fans showered the Jameses in cheers. They even broke out in a “We want Bronny!” chant. The game served as the first visit to Ohio State for Bronny, who is a senior this year at Sierra Canyon High School in California.

Bronny, a four-star prospect in the class of 2023, has not publicly stated his intentions after high school, but he is apparently leaning toward attending college. His mother, Savannah, recently said in an interview that he wants to go the college route.
He has garnered plenty of interest from several collegiate programs, including Ohio State. He reportedly spent about four hours visiting the school before the football game and participated in a photoshoot and watched practice.
Bronny, who is listed at 6 feet, 4 inches, recently turned in a strong summer of performances in events across the country and in France with the California Basketball Club. The showing prompted ESPN to bump his class ranking up from No. 40 to No. 35 in its latest update.
The appearance was his first known official or unofficial college visit.
