Where are the Boston Celtics expected to finish in the 2022-23 regular season?

Is Boston still the squad to beat in the East?

Where are the Boston Celtics expected to finish the 2022-23 regular season in relation to their peers in the NBA’s Eastern Conference standings?

Last week’s injury to veteran forward Danilo Gallinari might have put a damper on the optimism regarding the Celtics’ overall ceiling. But given the Italian star’s promising prognosis of a November return, is Boston still the squad to beat in the East?

The host of the “Box and One” podcast, Adam Spinella, and guest Caitlin Cooper hashed out the East standings for next season, dividing the conference into four tiers: still building, playoff probables, playoff locks but non-contenders and title contenders.

Watch the clip embedded above to hear where they place Boston next season.
