It’s looking awfully likely that Lady Gaga will be in Fortnite soon, potentially to perform an in-game concert.
On Tuesday, FNLeaksAndInfo, a popular Twitter account that regularly leaks Fortnite events and collaborations, shared audio of an all-new “Jug Band” collaborative emote (thanks, Kotaku). When four players use it together, a fiddle cover of Laga Gaga’s certifiable banger “Poker Face” plays. If you (somehow) haven’t heard the song in a while, have a quick listen on YouTube. Context is key and all that good stuff.
Now, listen to a preview of the Jug Band tune below. It’s unmistakably “Poker Face,” particularly the chorus.

That’s not the only bit of evidence, either. On Wednesday, Epic Games announced the Rainbow Royale, a virtual festival celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. The official press release mentions that music from Janelle Monáe, Lil Nas X, Todrick Hall, King Princess, Kim Petras, and Lady Gaga will be listenable via the in-game radio. So in some fashion, she’s involved.
Furthermore, there were leaks about a potential Lady Gaga crossover with Fortnite more than a year ago. So it might finally be happening. Say a short prayer for monsters everywhere.
Of course, Lady Gaga wouldn’t be the first major artist to put on a show in Fortnite. Travis Scott and Ariana Grande did the same last year.
