#Texans claimed former #Buccaneers WR Tyler Johnson.

The Houston Texans have claimed wide receiver Tyler Johnson off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Johnson was the most surprising cut the Bucs made as they whittled down their roster from 80 players to 53 prior to Tuesday’s deadline.
A fifth-round pick out of Minnesota in the 2020 NFL draft, Johnson has shown flashes of potential throughout his two seasons in Tampa Bay, but also struggled with drops and consistency.
The Bucs moved on from Johnson despite the fact that he led the team in receiving during the 2022 preseason. He’ll now get a fresh start in Houston with former Bucs head coach Lovie Smith.
