Former New York Giants linebacker Corey Miller is being inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame at his alma mater, the University of South Carolina.
Miller, 53, was drafted in the sixth round (167th overall) of the 1991 NFL draft and played seven seasons with Big Blue. Miller ended his career with the Minnesota Vikings in 1999.
Miller played defensive end for the Gamecocks from 1987-90, and was named an All-South Independent selection as a defensive end in 1989 and 1990. The Giants converted Miller to linebacker under head coaches Ray Handley and Dan Reeves.
The Giants acknowledged Miller’s achievement on social media this week.
