Since the beginning of the summer rumors have circulated about Kyrie Irving and his future in Brooklyn, as we get closer to the regular season it seems as if Irving is finding some harmony in staying with the Nets.
NBA insider Ian Begley of SNY reports that Irving and the team are at a good place right now.
“A source close to Irving said this week that the seven-time All-Star is in a good place with the Nets and comfortable entering the 2022-23 season,” Begley wrote.
Irving hosted an All-Star game called ‘More Than A Run’ earlier this week, over 2,000 people showed up including teammates David Duke, Kessler Edwards and Royce O’Neal at Kean University.
The Nets official Instagram page posted pictures from the event, taking a sense of pride in their veteran ball handling guard. This shows a lot of good faith, considering a few months ago the two parties struggled to see eye-to-eye.
Here's a couple of screenshots from Nets official Instagram site. Net also posted videos of Irving at Kean. Something's happening here, what it is ain't exactly. pic.twitter.com/CtnefXL9b1
