Tennessee’s softball team has been recognized for its academic achievement.
19 student-athletes earned All-America Scholar-Athlete honors by Easton and the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association for the 2021-22 school year.
The players included: Amanda Ayala; Samantha Bender; Amanda Curran; Ivy Davis; Erin Edmoundson; Anna Fox; Shakira Goodloe; Bailey McCachren; Kiki Milloy; Ashley Morgan; Kaitlin Parsons; Ashley Rogers; Nicola Simpson; Katie Taylor; Caliyah Thompson; Olivia Underwood; Madison Webber; Rylie West and Ryleigh West.
To be eligible for All-America scholar athlete honors, a student-athlete must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the academic year.
Tennessee’s 19 selections represents the most in the Southeastern Conference.
The Lady Vols have a cumulative 3.619 GPA, the best in the SEC and the 19th highest in the nation.
Tennessee has posted a team GPA of 3.5 or better for five consecutive semesters.
