New York Giants rookies and select veterans will report to East Rutherford, New Jersey on Tuesday morning for the official start to training camp.
Per the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement, the first day of camp “shall be limited to physical examinations, meetings, and classroom instruction.” Teams may also have on-field work, but that must be limited to running and conditioning (similar to the off-season’s Phase One rules, except all coaches may be present on the field during conditioning and running activities).”
The remainder of the Giants’ roster will report for training camp on Tuesday, July 26 with the first practice officially scheduled for Wednesday, July 27.
Meanwhile, for the first time since 2019, the Giants will also open 11 practices up to fans.
“We are thankful to be able to welcome our fans back to training camp,” Giants co-owner John Mara said. “We have missed having them at training camp the past couple years. Our players, coaches and staff love the energy our fans bring throughout camp. It is a great opportunity for us to interact with the fans and show our appreciation for their support.”
