Rams DL Bobby Brown suspended 6 games for PED violation

The NFL has suspended Rams DL Bobby Brown III 6 games for violating the performance enhancing drug policy

The Los Angeles Rams will be without defensive lineman Bobby Brown for the first six games of the regular season. He violated the league’s policy on performance enhancing drugs and has been suspended without pay for six games.

Brown can still participate in training camp and all preseason games but he will not be on the 53-man roster for the start of the season. The Rams selected him in the fourth round of last year’s draft out of Texas A&M.

Brown played in 10 games last season but made just one tackle, playing 22 total snaps on defense. He was expected to be the Rams’ fourth or fifth defensive lineman on the depth chart but will now have to wait until Week 8 to play due to the team’s Week 7 bye.
