The Philadelphia 76ers took on the Denver Nuggets on Friday night in Las Vegas and the team got off to a fast start. Philadelphia got Isaiah Joe back in the lineup and they were able to use their hot start in order to knock off the summer Nuggets 97-71.
The Sixers got a spark from Joe who knocked down a couple of triples, but they were led in scoring by Grant Riller who scored 13 of his 18 in the first half. The Sixers led 22-9 after one quarter and then 48-27 at the half.
On top of Riller’s nice night, Philadelphia got an overall good night out of Trevelin Queen who stuffed the stat sheet with 17 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Joe had 14 points, five rebounds, four steals, and three assists, Michael Foster Jr. had nine and eight boards, Justin Smith had 10 and eight rebounds, and Charlie Brown Jr. had eight and six rebounds. Aminu Mohammed also added 10 and six boards as well.
