Arch Manning has another receiver to throw passes in the 2023 class. Four-star 2023 wide receiver Jonah Wilson committed to the Texas Longhorns Sunday afternoon.
Wilson joins Ryan Niblett in what could be one of Texas’ best receiver classes in a long time. The 6-foot-3 receiver from Dekaney High School has great body control and concentration when receiving the football. Wilson is adept at adjusting to catch off-target throws in midair. Dekaney frequently utilized Wilson’s jump-ball skills on throws downfield.
As a downfield threat, Wilson routinely left high school defenders in the dust. If that translates to the college level, he will become a focus of Steve Sarkisian’s offense.

Wilson received offers from Ohio State, LSU, Texas A&M, Arkansas, and others. After considering his options, Wilson decided to make his new home in Austin, Texas.
Wilson is the No. 34 receiver in the nation and No. 47 overall player in Texas, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
