Nets and Kyrie Irving working together to find a ‘happy medium’

The Nets and Kyrie Irving are reportedly trying to find a middle ground in contract talks.

A few days after the Kyrie Irving and Brooklyn Nets contract talks had stalled, it’s now being reported that the organization and the seven-time All-Star are working together to find a “happy medium.”

NBA reporter Brian Lewis of the New York Post dropped the news earlier this week. Sources tell him that the two parties want to “what’s good for both sides.”

Lewis said, “both sides are still working to find a happy medium in Brooklyn rather than an exit strategy out of it.”

Lewis describe the league’s perception of the Irving contract fiasco as a bluff by the ball handler to get GM Sean Marks to concede, but most teams believe that he’ll return to Brooklyn.

While it seemed like the Nets front office and Irving were on complete opposite wavelengths, I’m sure Brooklyn fans are ecstatic to hear that their superstar wants to work to return to the franchise.
