As the Philadelphia 76ers prepare for the 2022 NBA draft on Thursday, they found out when the rest of their younger players will head to Las Vegas for the Summer League portion of the offseason.
2021 first-round pick Jaden Springer and the rest of the younger players will head to Vegas beginning on July 9 when they open their schedule against the Toronto Raptors at 3:30 p.m. EDT. They will then take on the Brooklyn Nets, the Miami Heat, and finish up with the Denver Nuggets.
For those interested in those sort of things, two of those teams were 2022 playoff opponents for the Sixers: Toronto and Miami.
Philadelphia’s Las Vegas Summer League schedule has been released:
7/9 vs. TOR 3:30 pm ET
7/10 at BRK 3:30 pm
7/13 vs. MIA 9 pm
7/15 at DEN 6 pm#Sixers— Ky Carlin (@Ky_Carlin) June 20, 2022
If the Sixers do keep their selection at No. 23 on Thursday, which is still up in the air due to the Sixers shopping that pick, then that player will join Springer and the Sixers out in Las Vegas. Philadelphia needs some help on the wings so one can assume that’s where they will go with their 2022 pick.
