Brooklyn Nets owner recruits Fake Klay to play with Kevin Durant

After the Warriors banned “Fake Klay Thompson”, Nets owner Joe Tsai has invited him to join the team.

Following Game 5 of the NBA Finals, internet sensation ‘Fake Klay Thompson’ has reportedly been banned from Chase Center – but the Brooklyn Nets are happy to extend him an invitation to the Barclays Center.

The Klay Thompson impersonator has been banned from the Golden State Warrior’s home for life, after walking into the stadium and shooting around on the court for a few minutes.

Dawson Gurley is a YouTube prankster and has been quite a topic of conversation for NBA and Warriors fans. Gurley’s antic have been noticed on national TV and even Steve Kerr mistook the impersonator for his own player just a few seasons ago.

Net owner Joe Tsai decided to react to the NBA news, openly inviting the YouTube impersonator to come out to Barclay’s Center. Tsai used the hashtag, #FakeTampering.

If “Fake Flay Thompson” came to Brooklyn, what would that even look like? The team could chose to dress him up as a Net and take promotional photo’s or to bring in more ticket sales.
