Two Lady Vols earned All-America honors Saturday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Joella Lloyd achieved All-America accolades in two events on the final day of the championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
Lloyd finished ninth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.29 seconds. Her effort netted second-team honors.
Lloyd, a native of St. John’s Antigua and Barbuda, earned first-team All-America honors in the 200-meter dash, finishing eighth (22.80 seconds).
Senior distance specialist Sydney Seymour earned second-team All-America honors in the 5,000-meter run.
She finished 13th with a time of 15:51.50. The performance netted Seymour the first All-America recognition of her career.
