Lady Vols’ basketball player Justine Pissott has made the 2022 USA Basketball U18 women’s basketball team.
Her selection comes after four days of trials in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The 12-player roster was selected from 30 invitees and Team USA will compete at the 2022 FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina June 13-19.
Team USA will open tournament play June 13 against Colombia.
The team was selected by the USA Indiana Developmental National Team Committee. It represents the high school graduating classes of 2022 and 2023.
Tennessee head coach Kellie Harper is on the committee.
Team USA’s U18 team will be coached Joni Taylor (Texas A&M), DeLisha Milton-Jones (Old Dominion) and Teri Moren (Indiana).
Team USA will also have pool play games against Puerto Rico (June 14) and El Salvador (June 15).
Pissott hails from Toms River, New Jersey and is a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School.
