Oregon Ducks officially sign South Carolina transfer Jermaine Couisnard

The Oregon Ducks officially signed South Carolina transfer Jermaine Couisnard, who played 3 seasons with the Gamecocks.

It’s been some time since the news that the Oregon Ducks were adding South Carolina Gamecocks transfer Jermaine Couisnard to the roster through the transfer portal, but it was announced on Friday morning that the signing has been completed.

Couisnard, a 6-foot-4 guard who played three seasons at South Carolina, averaged 11.6 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game last season.

Couisnard scored a career-high 33 points against the LSU Tigers las year as well.

“Jermaine continues to grow as a player and is a tough guard with experience against high-level competition,” said Altman, via a press release. “He is the type of player that will fit in well here at Oregon and we’re excited to have him.”
