Going into the 2022 football season, Roll Tide Wire will be looking at each scholarship player listed on the Alabama Crimson Tide roster.
Over the preseason, each profile will cover where the player is from, how recruiting websites rated them coming out of high school, and what role they will play for Nick Saban this season.
Today, we breakdown rising junior wide receiver Traeshon Holden, who has gotten the true Alabama experience: not seeing the field much because the upperclassmen that are above you on the depth chart are projected first-round prospects. That being said, 2022 could be the year Holden sees some consistent playing time.

Depth Chart Overview
Holden is not currently slated to be a starting wide receiver for the team in 2022, but could very easily work into that role. Jermaine Burton and Tyler Harrell were two key receivers added to the roster for the upcoming season via the transfer portal. The third starting spot is seemingly up for grabs. Holden will compete against Ja’Corey Brooks and JoJo Earle for it.
