2022 Tennessee Titans’ win total, Super Bowl, conference and division odds

Analyzing 2022 NFL futures for the Tennessee Titans, including odds for win total, Super Bowl and division with expert picks.

A year ago, the Tennessee Titans entered the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs. After trading WR A.J. Brown this offseason, the Titans aren’t even favored to win the weak AFC South. What a difference an offseason makes.

Below, we look at the Tennessee Titans 2022 NFL futures odds – including win total, division, conference and Super Bowl odds at Tipico Sportsbook – with best bet suggestions among our NFL picks and predictions.

The Titans lost 13 free agents off of last year’s team and added just 4 — WR Robert Woods, OT Jamarco Jones, CB A.J. Moore and backup RB Trenton Cannon. With a very different looking roster, the Titans are in a rebuild mode after posting the best record in the conference. They couldn’t find a way to keep the band together and it will hurt their chemistry.

The Titans went heavy on offense in the draft, selecting 5 offensive players with their first 6 picks. WR Treylon Burks was taken in the first round to go along with Woods and Julio Jones and Liberty QB Malik Willis fell all the way to them in the third round. Ryan Tannehill still has 2 years left on his deal, so Willis will be given time to make the transition before being thrown into the fire.

Over/Under: 9.5 (O: +115 | U: -140)

This is a tough one because when you look game by game, the Titans have the classic look of 9-8 team. However, when factoring in an Over/Under for either the Titans or Colts, you have to take into account that Houston and Jacksonville have 2 of the weakest rosters in the league. I see that as 4 wins to start your analysis. What that means is for the Titans not to hit the Over, they must go 5-8 in their other 13 games and I have a hard time seeing that happening if Derrick Henry is back and controlling the tempo of games.

Clearly the oddsmakers are favoring the Under, but coach Mike Vrabel‘s team has won 23 games the last 2 seasons and have never had a losing record on his watch. That’s something few coaches entering their 5th year can say.

TAKE THE TITANS AND THE OVER (+115)

Tennessee Titans’ 2022 Super Bowl odds

Odds: +3000 (bet $100 to win $3,000)

The Titans dominated much of last season. Posting wins over the Chiefs, Bills, Rams and 49ers proved that, when healthy, the Titans can hang with anybody. However, the AFC is stacked and most of the elite teams made themselves better. The Titans didn’t, losing many more players than they signed and trading Brown took a massive piece out of their offense. They may well make it out of the AFC South, but this isn’t a team built for a long playoff run as it is currently constructed. PASS.

Tennessee Titans’ 2022 playoff odds

Will Titans make the playoffs: Yes -110 | No -110

Given the 4 wins I project them to have against the Texans and Jaguars, I have the Titans on a record of 10-7. That could be enough to win the AFC South, but is very much in the realm of locking down a wild-card spot if they don’t fend off the Colts for the division title. Ten-win teams occasionally miss the playoffs, but it isn’t very often.

THE TITANS MAKE THE PLAYOFFS (-110)

Odds to win AFC South Division

  • Houston Texans +2000 (bet $100 to win $2,000)
  • Indianapolis Colts +100 (bet $100 to win $100)
  • Jacksonville Jaguars +600 (bet $100 to win $600)
  • Tennessee Titans +135 (bet $100 to win $135)

The Titans have won the AFC South the last two seasons. Many people point to the Colts collapse against the Jaguars in Week 18 as the reason Indy didn’t make the playoffs. While that was the final game of the season, being swept by the Titans is the real reason the Colts were on the outside looking in.

Indianapolis improved itself more than the Titans in the offseason, but the formula for beating the Colts was pounding Henry 25 times a game and swarming the opposing QB with their strong pass rush. Until the Colts prove they can handle the Titans in the trenches, it’s hard to bet against Tennessee holding on their perch atop the AFC South.

TAKE THE TITANS TO WIN THE AFC SOUTH (+135)

Odds to win AFC

Odds: +1500 (bet $100 to win $1,500)

Tennessee had all possible advantages in their favor last year in the playoffs, earning a bye and forcing opponents to come into their house to end their dream season — which is what Cincinnati did in Tennessee’s first playoff game. In the AFC, I see the Titans behind Buffalo, Kansas City, Cincinnati and Los Angeles at a minimum and quite possibly Indianapolis, Baltimore, Denver and New England. That’s way too many teams to expect some sort of magical run in January. PASS.
