Last May, former UW standout Sharif Chambliss returned to the University of Wisconsin as an assistant coach under Greg Gard.
Earlier today, Silver Waves Media recognized Chambliss as one of the most impactful high major assistant coaches in division one men’s basketball.
The Racine, Wisconsin native brought with him 11 years of previous coaching experience – most recently serving as an assistant coach at Wright State University in the Horizon League.
Coach Chambliss has made an immediate impact for the Badgers, bringing a high energy coach with a proven track record on the court, and as a recruiter.
Congratulations to Sharif Chambliss on being named one of the Most Impactful High Major Assistant Coaches in Division I Men’s Basketball. #Badgers pic.twitter.com/4pbBtIegKX
