Whether you like it or not the transfer portal and name and image likeness (NIL) changes that have swept through college sports are here to stay. They may be tweaked here or there but the toothpaste isn’t going back in the tube in these regards.
So when Mike Brey held court for a half hour on Tuesday it was refreshing to read how he discussed the transfer portal and NIL and essentially said that he’s told his staff to stop fussing and start doing.
Matt Fortuna of The Athletic was in attendance and shared the following tweets summarizing Brey’s comments.
