The New York Giants averaged just 15.2 points per game in 2022 which was second only to the Jacksonville Jaguars (14.9). In total, they scored just 24 touchdowns over the course of 17 games.

That’s bad. What makes it worse is that the Giants paid more per touchdown than any other team in the NFL.

In a recent data dump by Mark Fordham of Bookmakers, it was determined that the Giants spent $5,079,021 per touchdown. That number was out-paced by other teams in terms of cost-per-point and cost-per-win, but in cost-per-touchdown… Big Blue was dead last.

Comparing each NFL team throughout the 2021 regular season, we can reveal the New York Giants spent the most money per touchdown last season.

Costing the franchise over $5 million per score, the Giants are the league’s biggest spenders in this department, although they’re pipped by the Jacksonville Jaguars when it comes to the cost of each individual point ($472,467) and win ($30.47 million).

The Giants spent $472,467 per point and $30,474, 126 per win.

Unfortunately for Giants fans, things got no better for them when Bookmakers formulated their personal cost-per-touchdown. In fact, like the Giants themselves, Giants fans paid more per touchdown than any other fanbase in the league at $88.70.

According to our research, New York Giants supporters spent an enormous $88.70 each per touchdown last season. Giants fans also spent the most per point ($8.24) throughout the 2021 regular season.

It cost a lot to watch the Giants struggle week in and week out. It’s about time fans get a little added return on their investment.
