The Buffalo Bills were amongst the most active teams at the 2022 NFL draft. Pulling the strings on the four trades for the team was general manager Brandon Beane.
Beane and the Bills moved up in Round 1, then down twice, then up again at the draft.
Clearly it was an active year, but Beane provided even more context during his appearance on the Pat McAfee Show following the event.
In total, Buffalo made eight picks at the 2022 draft. Of those, Beane recalled the phone ringing to make at trade on all but two of them.
“The only picks I don’t really remember the phone ringing was our seventh and our third,” Beane said.
