The Eagles are all about quarterback development and after signing Nevada’s Carson Strong to an undrafted free agent deal, Philadelphia reportedly agreed to sign Brown quarterback EJ Perry as well.

According to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafalo, that agreement took place before Philadelphia signed Nevada Carson Strong to a huge deal.

With Strong now entrenched with the Eagles, Brown is now signing with Doug Pederson and the Jaguars.

The Ivy League Player of the Year, Perry passed for over 3,400 yards and 30 touchdowns in 10 games in his final season, earning him the Bushnell Cup for Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year.

This season, Brown had 3,033 passing yards and 23 touchdowns while also putting up another 402 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground.
