Michigan State football has started a new NFL draft streak. On Friday, Kenneth Walker III, the Spartans’ prolific runner who shocked the country last season after transferring from Wake Forest, was selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks.
Walker was the No. 41 pick overall and the second running back selected after Breece Hall.
Walker is the highest draft pick for the Spartans since Malik McDowell was drafted by the Seahawks back in 2017.
