The New York Giants checked two key boxes in Round 1 of the 2022 NFL draft, selecting Oregon edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux and offensive tackle Evan Neal.
That’s a terrific start for general manager Joe Schoen & Co., but there’s still plenty of work to be done.
The Giants have three picks on Day 2 of the draft — one in Round 2 and two in Round 3. Over that series of picks, they are likely to address two or more of the following positions: linebacker, cornerback, safety, interior offensive line, nose tackle, running back and potentially, quarterback.
