Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has started to emerge as a top-flight NFL quarterback, easily a franchise one, and he’s someone that’s now a recognizable celebrity of sorts.

Look no further than his upcoming golf outing in “The Match” with the likes of Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes.

That’s some serious company… but the Bills are not worried about anything being a distraction.

Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott quelled any such notions during OTAs this week.

“If this was his first offseason or second offseason, I’d be a little bit more concerned. But the way his plan unfolded through year one, two, three and beyond, he’s mature enough to handle it the right way,” McDermott said via video conference.

Actions always speak louder though, and Allen’s are right on cue with his coach.

Despite everything going on and being dubbed publicly as a great player, the QB is still willing to put in all the work necessary. Allen noted that during voluntary workouts.

“I don’t feel like I need to be here, but I absolutely want to be here,” Allen said.
