The transfer portal has been running rampant through just about every college program this offseason, as players from all over the country took a chance to find new homes.
Now in some cases like Texas, the transfer portal has been used as a weapon to reload and bolster a roster that had some major holes the year prior. In the cases of schools such as Oklahoma and a few others, there has been a mass exodus from the program leaving them frantically diving into the portal.
Luckily for the Longhorns, they are on the right side of the transfer portal this offseason, as although they have lost a few players there is a belief that the culture will be better without some of the departed. It’s not to say that all the players that left were toxic, but there were definitely murmurs of toxicity surrounding a few former players.
