The top running back prospect in the 2023 class will be on campus this weekend to witness Michigan State football’s spring game.
Rueben Owens of El Campo, Texas announced on Wednesday that he intends on visiting Michigan State this upcoming weekend, and will attend the Spartans’ spring game. Owens is the No. 1 running back in the 2023 class and a five-star prospect.
Owens is 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, and plays for El Campo High. He’s ranked as the No. 17 overall prospect in the 2023 class.
Owens has more than 40 offers and is a top-tier talent. He’s currently projected to end up at Texas, but the decision to come up for the Spartans’ spring game certainly is a big positive for Michigan State.
