While Von Miller is only a recent signee of the Buffalo Bills, the team is not brand new to him.
Miller explained how he knew the team’s history dating back to the 2011 NFL draft. There, he was selected one pick before the Bills were on the clock.
He expected to land in Buffalo at the time and brushed up… only to end up with the Denver Broncos.
Years later, Miller is still familiar with the club based on watching them in the playoffs and he has developed relationships with players already with the Bills.
Enter Stefon Diggs.
After officially becoming a Bill, Miller said the wide receiver was a big-time recruiter.
“That’s my guy. I talked to him about it,” Miller said on Diggs. “To be honest, I talked to him about this locker room since he got here. I asked him about it. He said he loved it.”
“I’ve been working behind the scenes on (Miller to Buffalo) for a little while now. I was actually working on it before he went to LA,” Diggs said. “We started having conversations after the season and he was serious about it.”
Miller sure was.

Stefon Diggs was a big pitch-man for Von Miller to come to the #Bills, even before Miller hit free agency this offseason.
