Depth Chart Overview
Bridges was Auburn’s lowest-rated signee in the 2021 class but is now contending for a starting job at safety as a sophomore.
He has drastically improved himself physically and mentally since arriving on campus. He is listed at 202 pounds now, 21 pounds heavier than last fall.
He saw plenty of first-team reps during spring practice due to his familiarity with the defense over newcomers like JUCO transfer Marquise Gilbert, who is his main competition for the starting spot.
The two are competing to start alongside returning starter Zion Puckett and regardless of if he wins the job, Bridges is set to have a larger role than last season.
