The Indianapolis Colts officially introduced quarterback Matt Ryan on Tuesday with this deal directly impacting how the team goes about the 2022 NFL draft.
Though they still have work to do in free agency, their focus is mostly on the upcoming draft. They don’t have a first-round pick due to the initial Carson Wentz trade but they were able to move up five spots in the second round while adding a third-round pick in the deal that sent him to Washington.
