The Ohio State Women’s Hockey team will look to make history Sunday and win its first national championship in program history. The Buckeyes made it to the Frozen Four, which is being played in Happy Valley, and took care of the Yale Bulldogs on Friday night. OSU trailed Yale before rallying for the comeback victory.
The No. 1 seeded Buckeyes will take on the University of Minnesota Duluth today at 4 p.m. ET. Because not many schools have women’s hockey as a collegiate sport, Ohio State and Minnesota Duluth are in the same conference, the WCHA. The teams met four times during the regular season, splitting the series, each with two wins and two losses. They’ll face off one more time for the 2022 national title on the line.
