E.J. Liddell with some much-deserved notoriety. #GoBucks

Ohio State basketball forward E.J. Liddell was named a third-team All-American by the Associated Press on Tuesday. He is already coming off of being named a first-team All-Big Ten selection as the Buckeyes’ leader in several categories including points (19.6), rebounds (7.9), and blocks (2.5) per game. Almost all of his per-game stats have seen an improvement from his freshman, to sophomore, and now to his junior seasons.

The Big Ten had a slew of players named to the AP All-American teams. Iowa’s Keegan Murray, Kofi Cockburn of Illinois, and Wisconsin’s Johnny Davis were all named a first-team All-American. Jaden Ivey of Purdue made the second-team, and Purdue’s Zach Edey and Rutgers’ Ron Harper, Jr were all named honorable mention.

You can see E.J. Liddell back in action on Friday when Ohio State takes on Loyola-Chicago in the first game of its NCAA Tournament.
