Michigan State basketball may have lost in the semi-finals, but it’s hard not to look at their run in the Big Ten Tournament as a net positive, with the Spartans handling business against Maryland and Wisconsin before giving Purdue a run for their money.
The Wisconsin game in particular was huge for a team that desperately needed a confidence boost. It turns out that the match-up with the Badgers got fans excited too, with that game setting a new ratings record for the Big Ten Network, making it the highest rated Big Ten Tournament game to have ever been played on the Big Ten Network.
It was a 𝐁𝟏𝐆 Week.
🏀 Highest-rated @B1GMBBall Tournament in network history by +25%
🏀 Most-watched game in network history with over 1.1 million viewers tuning in for @BadgerMBB vs. @MSU_Basketball
