Tyson Walker’s status for NCAA Tournament uncertain

Tyson Walker’s status for Michigan State’s NCAA Tournament game against Davidson is uncertain

Michigan State basketball’s starting point guard Tyson Walker rolled his ankle in the team’s semifinal matchup against Purdue. Walker’s ankle roll was bad and it kept him from returning to the game. It was eventually deemed that he had a sprained ankle and did not have the lateral quickness or movement to be playing. A sprained ankle is a tough injury for a basketball player to recover from, and the Spartans will need Walker to recover from this as soon as possible if there is any hope that the Spartans will make a run this March.

Walker isn’t expected to practice on Monday or Tuesday, so it will be worth noting how much activity he has with the team on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of Friday’s matchup with Davidson.
