Seahawks: Updated 2022 NFL draft picks after dealing Russell Wilson to Denver

Seattle now has eight picks in the 2022 NFL draft, including a top-10 selection they got from Denver.

The Seahawks decided to trade their best player to the Broncos in exchange for three players and several draft picks. While it may be tough for the franchise to find a better quarterback than Russell Wilson for a long time, they are at least getting a good haul of draft capital in return.

Seattle now has eight picks in the 2022 NFL draft, including a top-10 selection they got from Denver. Here is the updated order of their picks.

Round one: Pick No. 9 overall (from Broncos)
Round two: Pick No. 40 overall (from Broncos)
Round two: Pick No. 41 overall
Round three: Pick No. 72 overall
Round four: Pick No. 107 overall
Round five: Pick No. 151 overall
Round five: Pick No. 152 overall (from Broncos)
Round six: No picks
Round seven: No. 227 overall

In a perfect world, Liberty QB Malik Willis would fall to the Seahawks at No. 9, at least giving them a chance on a prospect with promising physical traits if nothing else. Willis might not make it that far, though.

Top edge defenders Aidan Hutchinson (Michigan) and Kayvon Thibodeaux (Oregon) are also unlikely to still be on the board at that point, but there will still be a lot of quality pass rushers available.
