Alabama squeaked past Vanderbilt in a game that had Tide faithful on the edge of their seats on Wednesday in a 74-72 win against the hot Commodores, who hadn’t lost at home in four contests prior to Alabama’s arrival in Nashville.
The Crimson Tide will look to further improve their standing in the Southeastern Conference as they take on the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday evening.
Jaden Shackelford leads Alabama in scoring on the season, averaging a clip of nearly 17 points per game on the 2021-22 campaign.
The Tide ranks twelfth in the nation in scoring offense with 80.2 points per game, but 141st in scoring margin while allowing just over 75 points per game on defense.
Jermaine Couisnard leads the Gamecocks with 11.5 points per game, he has shot at a clip of 41% on the season.
