Where Wisconsin stands in the latest ESPN Bracketology

Wisconsin basketball has been one of the surprise stories in the nation, as a team that was picked to finish in the bottom half of the Big Ten is currently leading one of the nation’s best conferences through 13 games.

Where does a 19-4 overall record and a 10-3 mark in the Big Ten land Wisconsin according to ESPN’s “Bracketologist” Joe Lunardi?

The Badgers are currently a No. 4 seed in ESPN’s latest projections earlier this week, which notably doesn’t include Tuesday’s road win over Michigan State. Wisconsin will surely be on the rise after getting redemption on the road if they can take care of Rutgers this Saturday at the Kohl Center.

The current top seeds in the bracket are Purdue, Arizona, Auburn, and Gonzaga. Wisconsin was slated to be in the west region, and would take on No. 13 seed South Dakota State.
