Woj: Ex-Boston Celtics forward Semi Ojeleye dealt to Los Angeles Clippers in 4-team deal

The SMU product will now be playing for the Clippers for the rest of this season.

Former Boston Celtics forward Semi Ojeleye is on his way to the Los Angeles Clippers at the 2022 NBA trade deadline as part of a four-team deal involving the Sacramento Kings getting Donte DiVincenzo, Trey Lyles and Josh Jackson, the Milwaukee Bucks Serge Ibaka, and two future second-round picks, and cash, the Clippers Rodney Hood, and Semi Ojeleye.
and the Detroit Pistons Marvin Bagley Jr., according to ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

Ojeleye had joined the Bucks this summer in free agency after spending his entire career before that point with the Celtics, who drafted him out of Southern Methodist University with the 37th overall pick of the 2017 NBA draft.

He had played four seasons with Boston in a reserve role, never quite developing a consistent offensive game to match his solid defensive presence in the frontcourt, and averaged 3.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game with the Celtics in his time with the team.
